It was lust Matthew!
He actually physically CAN NOT understand how she could have sex without being in love. He has heard about lust, maybe he’s read about it, maybe even felt it (but not necessarily understood it)…but he has never acted on it. HIS FACE!!! How can people say that he’s not a virgin after seeing HIS FACE???? (Especially in the 6th gif.) He is heartbroken and confused, and I just want to hold him and tell him that in about half an hour they’ll be twirling in the snow, engaged and happy. MY POOR BABY!!!!!
